Our small operation, run by James 'Tex' Smock, specializes in parts and accessories for photographic, studio and darkroom equipment, projectors, micrographic equipment, electronic and test equipment, educational and audio visual equipment. Most of our items are used parts and accessories from salvaged equipment, although we do have a few new parts. We also have some new old stock projector and specialty bulbs and photocopies of many hard to find owner's manuals and service and parts manuals. Although most of our parts are used, we guarantee them to be fully functional. In fact we always guarantee you full satisfaction on any purchase.

Policies

Our business is strictly an internet business, we are not set up for customers to come and look at items. We are also on the run a lot and not always near a phone, so we would rather do business by email. We try to answer emails as quickly as we can, but sometimes it takes a day or two to get caught up.

Our Shopping Cart

The shopping cart on this site was designed to be an easy way for you to buy from us day or night. Most of the time it works well, but if you have any problems, just let us know. The cart will automatically take you to the PayPal site to pay by credit card or it will send you an invoice if you elect to pay by mail. If you are not comfortable using the cart, you can bypass it and we can deal by email.

Shipping

The customer pays all shipping costs unless otherwise stated on the item detail page. Shipping costs are automatically calculated in the shopping cart before you hit the final check out button. Multiple items are combined in one package and calculated on the total weight of the package. Shopping cart shipping amounts are estimates and are usually correct, but we reserve the right to revise the amount when necessary, especially on international orders.

Payments

We do not accept credit cards directly, only through PayPal or Google Checkout service which is set up on the shopping cart. You do not have to sign up for PayPal services to pay me by credit card through PayPal. Or you can mail your payment to:

Domestic US

Cash, Money Order, Cashiers Check, Personal or Business Check, Western Union Money Transfer

PayPal Instant Transfer or credit card purchase.

Google Checkout credit card purchases

International

Cash, International Money Order, Western Union Money Transfer. Money orders must be drawn on a US bank.

PayPal Instant Transfer or credit card purchase if available in your country.

We do not accept bank wire transfers at this time.

All prices are in U. S Dollars and all payments must be made in U.S. Dollars.

Hold On Items Purchased

If you elect to pay for your purchase by mail, your items will be held for a maximum of 10 days. If payment is not received in 10 days, your order will be canceled and the items returned to the store.

You can check the status of your order anytime on the Order Status Page . You will need your order number and email address.
